TASHA General Meeting - The 2004 Holiday Horse Show December 4, 2004

Meeting Notes:

•Special TASHA volunteers / officers (past and present) were honored with a presentation by Pam Patterson. Thanks to Joan Cantrell, Sherry Wallace, Pam Hester, and Laurie Levins for your years of service, commitment, creativity, and just plain hard work! Also, thanks to Stacey Joiner for her eagerness and generosity (she supplied the T-Shirts at no cost to TASHA) in her first year as a TASHA officer. Each received a fleece TASHA blanket.

•TASHA purchased a memorial trophy for Dorothy Dukes Ford. A decision was made to present this trophy in future TASHA ASB Saddle Seat Show Equitation (17 and under) Championship classes. It was presented for the first time on Sunday, 12/5 to Rachael Worthey. Also, an update about Dorothy’s American Royal Memorial Trophy has been published under Latest News on the TASHA web site.

•2003-2004 TASHA HighPoint Awards were announced and awarded by TASHA President, Koren Mercer. For a listing, please check the web site at http://www.texasasha.org/HighPointAwards.htm.

•Did you notice the striking black TASHA fleece jackets with the red Saddlebred? If you did not get a chance to purchase one of these stylish jackets, you'll get a second chance at the February TASHA horse show. T-shirts will also be available.
